Alcohol Highway Safety Class


Inter vention services are desgined to discourage the experimenting or abusing population from further involvement by suggesting alternative ways to cope with the programs.


GPASS' DUI program is certified through the Alcohol Highway Safety Program of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to provide this 12.5 hours class which is a requirement for DUI offenders.


objectives of the AHSS are to provide students with a basic knowledge and understanding of alcohol and controlled substances adn their effects on metabolism and judgement, alcoholism and drug addiction, as well as highway safety, to encourage a positive change in student's attitude concerning driving under influence of alcohol or a controlled substance.


AHSS is a 12.5 hours program, broken up into two classes. The classes are given twice a month (every other Satuday) from 9:00am until 3:45pm. The cost of the AHSS is $160 cash or moeny order.
